Schedule a visit with Dr. Ryan Olson, ND

A Naturopathic Doctor

will look at the whole body as a way of treating health rather than disease. Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct and comprehensive system of primary health care that uses natural methods and substances to support and stimulate the body’s self-healing process (Bureau of Naturopathic Medicine).

Naturopathic Doctors treat the root cause, not just symptoms, thus allowing us as patient and doctor to address your health in a comprehensive way.

Our tools to diagnose and treat

include clinical and laboratory diagnostic testing, nutritional medicine, botanical medicine, physical medicine, public health measures, hygiene, counseling, minor surgery, homeopathy, acupuncture, prescription medication, intravenous and injection therapy, and naturopathic obstetrics (natural childbirth). As Naturopathic Doctors, we are able to use all of these tools as well as the most important factor in determining how to help you; LISTENING, which is commonly overlooked in medical visits today.

Our Training

All Naturopathic Doctors are required to complete 4 years at an accredited Naturopathic Medical School, pass a two-step Naturopathic Physician’s Licensing Examination, complete preceptorship hours with licensed doctors while in school, obtain a license from a state board of physicians and complete continuing education units over the course of their career in order to practice medicine.  Each state may have further requirements for clinicians as well.
